The Edgar A. Anderson S.T.R.O.N.G. Foundation Family goal is to let the community know that we are here to hear their silent cries, to give the youth within our community the opportunity to utilize necessary skills that would not be afforded to them unless they entered into the prison system, to bring back after school programs, park and school tournaments, to bring about respect, and trust for Community and Law Enforcement. To take gangs and show them unity, members returning from the prison system and showing them opportunities and what life is really like on the out side. (L.O.T.O.S. Life On The Out Side).
The Edgar A. Anderson S.T.R.O.N.G. Foundation Family purpose is to make a better, safer, stronger, respectable community. To give the youth in our community the opportunity to see further than what society would like them to see. These life learning skills, and programs (alternative to violence, Drugs and Alcohol, HIV/AIDS, L.O.T.O.S Awareness) gives the community an outlets to express their feelings (Silent cries) which in turns brings down violence, drugs and alcohol abuse, HIV/AIDS, and gangs activities. An idle mind, and time could only lead the negativity that our community is plagued with, and in order to rebuild and remove that plague positive activities must exist.
